this hotel is fabulous with friendly staff, especially in the pool bar. our junior suites were consistently clean, and the towels were changed daily. we really enjoyed the fantastic covered swimming pool, which is perfect for a swim even on cooler days. its location is convenient, being close to shops and bars.

The indoor pool was fantastic for our family, and we loved being just a short walk from the beach. We even tried some water sports like paddleboarding nearby, which was super fun. Our little dog was welcomed, making our stay even more enjoyable.

Had a great stay in a double room. The room had air conditioning, a balcony with outdoor furniture, and a flat-screen TV. The pools were awesome, especially the outdoor one. The food was delicious, with plenty of variety. The spa facilities included a sauna and an indoor pool. Staff were super helpful too.

It was just a fitting option for a short stayover in Playa de Palma with reasonable value. The staff at the bar were friendly and attentive, which made the experience enjoyable during my stay. Consider trying the local dishes available during dinner for a taste of the region.

Fantastic indoor pool experience

I recently enjoyed a stay in a spacious Double or Twin Room, and the indoor pool was absolutely fantastic, allowing for a refreshing swim regardless of the weather. The food variety was excellent, with delicious buffet meals available for every meal, and the freshness was noticeable, especially in the breakfast offerings. The location was ideal for accessing public transport for exploring Palma, making my vacation feel even more fulfilling. I found the check-in process could be improved as it took longer than expected.

The hotel offers a pleasant atmosphere with helpful staff, and the garden area adds a nice touch. the noise from neighboring rooms can be disruptive at night, and the bed could have been more comfortable during the stay. an enjoyable experience.

Our stay at the Occidental was pretty enjoyable despite some drawbacks. The one-bedroom apartment had an inviting pool view and was spacious enough for us. Breakfast had plenty of options, but I'd say the scrambled eggs were disappointing, as they tasted powdered. The outdoor area was peaceful, and we could always find sun loungers without any trouble. there were a few issues that stood out. Our bathroom definitely felt dated, with some maintenance needed on fixtures. The air conditioning struggled a bit, making the room feel warmer than it should have. the noise from the dining area and entertainment was disruptive at night, especially those loud live performances. It was hard to relax with groups being rowdy around the pool. In general, while the hotel had great amenities, attention to detail in room conditions and noise management would enhance the experience significantly.
